The Japanese animation studio Madhouse will team up with Marvel again to animate a new direct-to-video movie. Iron Man: Rise of Technovore will focus around Ezekiel Stane, who develops bio-technology that is better than the Iron Man armor. Ezekiel unleashes a terrorist attack and sets up Tony to take the fall. So now Tony must avoid S.H.E.I.L.D. and clear his name.
Sigh! Don't get me wrong I like Iron Man, but when I first heard of Marvel doing this anime stuff I was how do you say it, flabbergasted and appalled (at the same time, yes). That terrible wolverine, and the Blade anime no one know's exist (let's keep it that way). The main point being I really didn't like the idea of an american comic company taking their tier-one hero and making it into an anime. It was just weird seeing this american icon be a anime. It's not like marvel has done a terrible job at animation sure the ultimate avengers movies were a little underwhelming, but the hulk vs. movies were awesome especially the wolverine one which probably took many cues from anime, but still it was not an actually anime. Iron Man is probably the only one that is good(after all that ranting, I know right). We'll see how good the movie is before I pass final judgement.
